In honour of my buddies leaving to join the Army, we spent some time training, shooting, and having a blast. A character that could only be met in the movies or on television, we sent him off with gunpowder and grandeur. May his journeys be enlightening and empowering, and may he return to us safely. It is with a heavy heart that I see him go, for we have trained our bodies and minds alongside one another, and I believe he was an anchor for me during a dark time. His goofy attitude and annoying face will be missed but I hope it is only for a while. When we see him next, may we spend it with brass and crass, not worrying about the future or past but of our deep bond and eternal friendship. The military will have their hands full with this, that's for damn sure. Good luck and safe travels, buddy!
