We return this week with a previous favorite, Old Forest. Harkening back to the beginning, this album pierces the quiet with haunting wails and ominous cords, stirring things in the blackness beyond, twisting to tear your soul asunder, and ravage your world with darkness. Beyond this, I have been collecting a bevy of new treats to unleash in the weeks ahead. After acquiring this album, I now seek to find Tales of the Sussex Weald, which is owed to me but I tire of waiting. Until next week, my acolytes. Darken the windows, invite the cold, and steel yourself for the blackness unleashed! Damp is the soil in this silent place, as I come closer graves appear from the fog. Black clouds hide away the sun, the wind sends chill and the moon appears. Far off, in the distance, I hear wolves baying. Creatures of the night, that smell my blood. The screaming gets louder, and I see their eyes.
