The second release from ALDA, we return this week with the showcase song "Wandering Spirit" from the Tahoma album. The cover already personifies the style of this album and bands intentions, the salmon swimming against the stream, the remains of a person sunk beneath the unceasing stream and progression of life. In the background, the tall pines and mighty mountain stretch on signaling that this is a place for only the wild at heart, where life and death lurk together. This entire album through exudes untamed power and brilliance, as majestic as a stag, and as loud as an avalanche. This week we celebrate survival and death all in the same as we wander this world in search of whatever it is that drives each of us. So stand firm and grit your teeth, this week may try and assail you and you must do as all wild things do, perservere in the face of hardship. This has become the weight of all This is the precipice, the breaking of the spirit This is the weight of fate Carried into the ocean of chaos In the waning light we bloom In the bitterness of mourning We release this pain Safe passage to you, our friend Though where you've wandered we cannot follow When the spring rises you shall be reborn. lyrics provided by https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Alda/%3ATahoma%3A/294481
