As I dwell on new content, the next expanse or addition to the series I have already in the works, I find myself stumbling through the wicked and wary worlds of cults. Now, this may seem just like the ramblings of a fool (and you would not be wrong) but I see this as a golden opportunity in each scenario. The heroic and villainous world of the DC Universe, which already has many cults such as The Court of Owls, the League of Shadowy Assassins, and the solitary cult of greed ruled by Larfleeze. The wicked world of the Dark Conspiracies is fraught with demons and aliens, of which our world has seen both already. The 41st Millenium is chalk full of cultists, so that one is a no brainer. However, the fun (and challenge) here is that each series is going to have a different dealing with such fanatics. A cult may not necessarily be evil, such as religious devotees or those that just want to wear special underwear. Therefore, I believe this is a good route for me to take. It adds flavor to each ongoing series, breaths new life into them, and keeps me sharp.
So, this means that I will be working on all three of those collections when I can, with no clue as to which will be tackled first. Also, I plan on altering the Dark Conspiracies timeline, adding and removing where I feel there are issues. So, the last entry will either be redone or scrapped altogether. Additionally, I will be adding back stories and precious encounters with the existing characters. This will flesh out their dynamics and allied behaviour, as well as fill in the missing pieces that I have but you do not. For now, if you have not read it, Chasing The Reaper was a new section added to the DC Universe series. I believe it is full of interesting and ridiculous characters, for which there should be at least one to peak your interest. Speaking of, I have actually been reading on my own as of late. This is highly unusual for I seem to be an anomaly of a human. I write but care not for reading. Yet, I feel this yearn, this draw to those pages that tempt and drag my mind about into sentences that inflict deep thought. I am enjoying myself but it is also slowing my writing. This may mean though that my next works could be more educated or brilliant (or they could be rotten and awful....just like me!) So, stay tuned, minions! Madness awaits!
