BETRAYED
Betrayed by the visage called friend,
Wounded by the loyal legion,
Burned until my ashes fled on the wind,
Carried to a darker creation
Summoned by a strange call,
I float towards a blackened dawn,
Beckoned after my ruinous fall,
Some force urging me to spawn
Anew,
I crawl back,
Anew,
Wicked and cold,
Anew,
Shambling from the black,
Gift from the old
Raking my claws,
I seek the ones before,
Hungering jaws,
A monster from yore
Returned to this earth.
Wild and crazed,
Risen from a dark birth,
Each one stares at me dazed
Blood,
Fills my mouth,
Blood,
Splattered against the wall,
Blood,
Drains from the youth,
Blood,
Drowns them all,
They fall before my fury,
Suffering my storm,
Falling on them in a flurry,
Shattering their form
Fueled by vengeance,
Faltering beneath my terror,
Erasing their allegiance,
Their carnage I only mirror
Devour,
The young and old,
Devour,
The king and queen,
Devour,
The brave and bold,
Devour,
The king and mean
Loosed upon this land,
Relentless I ride,
Slain by their hand,
Erased in a bloodsoaked tide
When all have ceased to breath,
The darkness begs my return,
No longer do I seethe,
As I watch their world burn
Betrayed by the visage called friend,
Wounded by the loyal legion,
Burned until my ashes fled on the wind,
